The course starts with an Introduction to First Aid, where learners explore what first aid is, essential first aid equipment, and basic emergency protocols.

The First Aid Principles & Emergency Response module teaches the primary survey method (DR ABC), how to place a casualty in the recovery position, and how to call emergency services in the UK (999/112).

The Managing Common Medical Emergencies module includes CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, responding to choking incidents, and managing fainting/unconsciousness.

Handling wounds, burns, and bleeding is critical in emergencies. The Bleeding, Wounds, and Burns module covers how to control severe bleeding, dress wounds, treat burns, and respond to nosebleeds and minor injuries.

The Bone, Joint & Muscle Injuries module focuses on managing fractures, sprains, strains, and spinal injuries, ensuring that learners understand proper immobilization techniques.

Medical emergencies require quick thinking. The Medical Conditions & Emergencies module teaches how to recognize and manage heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and diabetic emergencies.

The Environmental & Poisoning Emergencies module prepares learners to handle hypothermia, heatstroke, poisoning, allergic reactions, bites, and stings.

Finally, the First Aid at Work & Public Spaces module covers UK workplace first aid regulations, first aid protocols in schools/public events, and psychological first aid for mental health crises.
